About LIDO Apartments
LIDO Apartments is the ideal location for a holiday or weekend break all year round. Our modern apartments for 2, 3, and 4 people opened in June 2020, so they are brand new.
Our 4-person apartment type A is a beautiful apartment to be together. From your living room and from your balcony, you have a beautiful view over the beach and the North Sea. The calm colors and modern and spacious furnishings allow you to relax and enjoy your holiday comfortably in your apartment.
Your apartment has a spacious living room with a sea view, a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a television, and a dining table with four chairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped. The 4-person apartment has two bedrooms with two single beds per room. The bathroom is the only LIDO apartment with a bath. You also have a shower, sink, hairdryer and toilet. There is a table and four chairs on the balcony. Upon arrival at your apartment, the beds are made and towels are provided. After one week the bed linen will be changed and you will receive a new set of towels.
It is possible to rent additional towels through the reception of Hotel de Boei.
The location
LIDO Apartments is the ideal base for a holiday or weekend break in Egmond aan Zee all year round. The apartments are located above Restaurant Van Speijk. This restaurant has a lovely terrace, a comfortable interior, and an extensive lunch and dinner menu. You are on the beach in no time from your apartment, but also within a few steps in the pleasant shopping street in the village where you will find all kinds of lovely shops and cozy restaurants. The supermarket is a 5-minute walk away.
Nice to know
The 2-person apartment comes in two variants. In one variant, the sleeping and seating areas are at the same height as each other. In the other variant, the seating area is lower than the sleeping area, and you have stairs in the apartment.
LIDO Apartments has a few narrow corridors where it is difficult to maneuver with a walker and wheelchair. The apartments have high thresholds, and no adjustments have been made in the bathrooms for guests with walking difficulties. There are accommodations in Egmond aan Zee that have been adapted; please contact the reservations department: +31 72-750 2002.
Dogs are not allowed at LIDO. Each apartment has 1 parking space on site where you can park your car free of charge.

Your apartment will be ready from 3 p.m. on your arrival day. You can check-in at the reception of Hotel de Boei, across the street from LIDO. Is the reception of Hotel de Boei closed? Then you can check-in at Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee.
On the day of departure, you must be checked out by 10:30 a.m. Before checking out, we also ask you to go to the reception of Hotel de Boei and if De Boei is closed, to the reception of Hotel Zuiderduin.
Upon arrival at your apartment, the beds are made and towels are provided. Clean linens and towels are provided once a week.

In some of the 2- and 3-person apartments, the sitting and sleeping area, are separated by stairs.

However, dogs are welcome at our partners Hotel Zuiderduin, Hotel de Boei, Strandhotel Golfzang, Appartementen De Egmonden and Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin*.
Important: to avoid disappointment, please check conditions and availability with the hotel/apartment in advance.
* Please note: Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin is located in Wijk aan Zee.
No, our entire apartment complex is non-smoking area. This means that smoking is not allowed in the apartments and facilities of the complex.
